At MōMō Pizzeria & Ristorante, we understand your concerns during this time and I wanted to take a minute to assure you that we are still open for business and we are taking added precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of others. We all take this continuing development with COVID-19 seriously, and we promise to be diligent in our actions to protect the well-being of our guests, employees, and our Lincoln community.
MōMō Pizzeria & Ristorante will continue to adhere to social distancing etiquette, allowing only takeout orders and offering curbside delivery. Please know that COVID-19 is not a food-borne illness, but we always have protective measures in place to keep you and your food safe. The transmission of COVID-19 has not been linked to food or food packaging by the USDA or the FDA, safety remains a top priority for us.
While we ALWAYS practice proper sanitation, our employees are taking extra precautions at this time to ensure your food is safe. Current DHHS-Lancaster county standards require restaurants to supply our staff with proper handwashing- only sinks, access to hand sanitizer, and mandate handwashing prior to encountering food. We have increased our sanitizing practices in high-touch, high traffic areas as well.
MōMō Pizzeria & Ristorante takes pride in knowing that we have created a safe space for our staff, so if a staff member is feeling ill or if they have flu-like symptoms, they are not permitted to work. This is why you love MōMō—because we love coming here too, but we understand the importance of good health & the safety of others trumps our passion to work.
During our first week of business with takeout-only, we saw an enormous amount of love and support from our Lincoln community—whether that was ordering food, purchasing bottles of wine, sending anonymous tips to our staff, or gifting an electronic MōMō gift card to a colleague. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! It brings tears to my eyes knowing that you care about MōMō and we hope to reciprocate your support by continuing to bring you delicious meals you can enjoy at home.
This has been quite the learning process for us at MōMō and we respect your patience with us while we continue to make our practices better with our new business model for takeout-only. We have found that while COVID-19 has created a new way of life for many of us both personally and professionally, we are still human beings that find comfort in doing things as we’ve always done them. Because hey—if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Right?
Ideally, we’d love to serve you in our dining room over those busy weekends like we’ve always had—but the world has other plans for us. Remember you can enjoy MōMō Pizzeria & Ristorante any day of the week besides Sunday, and we’ll be here for you from 4-9 p.m. Don’t want to wait an hour and half for food—no problem, we understand. Part of making your new takeout experience a great one is to give you the option to see when your estimated pick-up time before you hit submit for your order. This puts you in the driver’s seat, so to speak.
To better adhere to the social distancing policy, we are requesting that you come at the estimated time of your order as quoted over the phone or on the online system—this way we can provide a safer pick-up for everyone who orders takeout. Friendly reminder that we offer curbside pickup, and this helps us monitor the number of guests allowed in our restaurant at a time as well.
A huge part of our success with takeout has been our online ordering system. It is exceptionally user-friendly, makes it more convenient to pay ahead with a credit card (and it also limits contact by not having to exchange cash), and the estimated pickup time has been an invaluable tool for both staff and guests. Please note that while we are still accepting phone-in orders, you will be subject to waiting in a queue, whereas the online option lets you order at your convenience with the click of a button! Don’t forget that we are constantly monitoring our Facebook and Instagram pages to answer your questions as well. We share all our information on our social pages; ensuring you have the most up to date news with a quick glance to either Facebook or Instagram. We will work our hardest to get to your inquiries in a timely fashion.
